Visiting with Blake at his shop, the Blake Elliot Salon & Gallery, and looking at the existing branding and marketing materials, it was easy for us to instantly understand the vibe that needed conveyed to website visitors.

We began the web design project by combining an existing color pallet with a highlight color, editing and preparing photos for web usage and selecting web fonts that complemented the logo and felt representative of the brand. From there content flow was mapped and site development began.
Hours, location, preferred contact method, a short statement about the salon's services and bios of the stylists were all the content really necessary to clearly communicate with site visitors. Additionally, information about the white cube gallery shows and artist bios were integrated into the homepage to draw awareness and easy accessibility to the gallery schedule.
In addition to the design and development of the website, we provided training on how to edit or add content, a bit of SEO guidance and ongoing site support.
